My Real Estate Media work comes with the bonus of a deep background in Corporate Video, music and audio production.
The Story
Through the 90s I was involved in one music project or another. I interned at several professional studios and clubs learning the ins and outs (literally) of audio production. I became familiar with analog as well as emerging digital technology. I ended the 90s at a web video start-up called Atomfilms in Seattle working as a production coordinator encoding video tapes, editing audio, and writing web copy for film pages and so started my slow transition from audio-only to moving and still image work..
Starting in 2008, I produced a huge variety of corporate video, photo, and audio content for web deployment.
I was employee number one of Wisetail, a web-based enterprise training platform. Part of the initial setup for new clients was a set of training, marketing, and/or 'About Us' videos. I was responsible for shooting and editing these videos. Our clients included the likes of Patagonia, PG&E, Yogaworks (Santa Monica), Samsung, Canon, and BBDO (Toronto) to name a few.
In 2010, I moved to Portland, OR to begin working as a contractor for Wisetail while I developed my own client list.
In 2015, I began integrating drone videography into my productions and that same year started capturing video and still images for real estate listings. In 2020, I launched my real estate-specific brand, Pacific Realty Images.
Now that we've emerged from Covid, I've relocated to Bellingham, WA and have resumed developing new corporate, non-profit, and Realty clients here and all the way up and down the i5 corridor as far south as Portland. My specialties include the aforementioned corporate video, headshot photography, and real estate (photography, drone, video, and 360 tours).
My tools include digital videography and photography utilizing canon mirrorless equipment. I edit videos predominantly in Final Cut Pro X with experience in after effects, Motion, & Compressor. My photo editing is primarily in Lightroom Classic and photoshop cc. My audio editing and production is in Logic X. I use Izotope RX and several of their other applications for specialized audio cleaning and production tasks. I'm an FAA-certified sUAS pilot.
